ABOUT SNOGG

Snogg the Dog was created nearly thirty years ago by Richard Williams while he was waiting in an airport for a connecting flight. As with so many sparks of creativity, Snogg came to life as a doodle on a napkin. He has gone through several creative interpretations since then before becoming what you see today. Since his creation, Snogg has adorned birthday and holiday cards, t-shirts and jackets, letterheads, and numerous other paraphernalia. He has been officially copyrighted and resides in the Library of Congress. His current endeavor is as a philosopher, humorist, and animal welfare advocate. His goal is to inspire people, make them laugh, raise their spirits, make them aware, and make them think. As the mascot for the nonprofit Food Banks for Pets, he strives to bring awareness to the crisis of food insecurity for pets and how it affects both animal and human welfare. His drive and dedication to this cause is an inspiration to the humans who created and run Food Banks for Pets. He shows no sign of slowing down and plans on pursuing his work, hopes, dreams, and aspirations for many years to come.
